THE INTEGRATED QUALIFICATION FRAMEWORK (IQF)

The Integrated Qualification Framework (IQF) followed by EduCatis is based on and aligned to the UK-RQF (UK Regulated Qualifications Framework) which provides flexible and affordable solutions to obtaining a under-graduate, graduate and post-graduate qualification. The Integrated Qualification Framework (IQF), in addition to the UK-RQF curriculum requirement, also incorporates a SA and USA curriculum component to prepare BBA and MBA for both the local as well as international academic and professional marketplace. 

IQF QUALIFICATION LEVELS

The Integrated Qualification Framework (IQF) covers the following spectrum of qualifications levels:

BASIC/SKILLS LEVEL Upon completion the student is awarded a Certificate of Completion (IQF Level 3) (Cert.Skill). The skills programme provides the student with basic business skills that will improve performance in the workplace as well as the entrepreneurial environment, and can be offered via an online or blended-learning tuition model. 

FOUNDATION/BRIDGING LEVEL - Upon completion of the programme the student is awarded a Bridging Diploma (IQF Level 3) (BDip.Skill or EDip.Skill). The programme introduces the student to subject knowledge and learning skills in preparation for undergraduate studies as part of the online academic study pathway towards the Integrated Master in Business Administration (IMBA). The BDip.Skill or EDip.Admin  is a prerequisite to register for the Integrated Master in Business Administration (IMBA) Degree Programme. 

UNDERGRADUATE LEVEL - This level is aligned to a Bachelor academic 1st Year (IQF-Level 4) (Dip.Man), Bachelor academic 2nd Year (IQF Level 5) (HDip.Man) and Bachelor academic 3rd Year (IQF Level 6) (GDip.Man) respectively of a three year UK-Bachelor's (BBA) or alternatively an Integrated Masters (MBA) Degree. Each level consists of 120 credits and is delivered via the EduNet Online Learner Management System (EOLMS) followed by a BBA-Top-Up or MBA Top-Up respectively (60 Credits) at a UK/USA/AUS/Swiss University either via blended-learning or an online learner management system.

POST-GRADUATE LEVEL - Qualifications at this level are aligned to the 4th academic year (IQF Level 7 & 7+) of a UK-based Masters (MBA) Degree and forms part of the Integrated Master in Business Administration curriculum. The level requires completion 120 credits and is delivered via the EduNet Online Learner Management System (EOLMS) followed by a MBA Top-Up at a UK/USA/AUS/Swiss or accredited international university either via blended-learning or an online learner management system. A PGDip.Man certificate is awarded to the student as proof that the prescribed course content has been studied via the Online Learner Management System and that the required competency assessment via test, assignments and examinations have been passed with an average pass rate of at least 60%. The PGDip.Man is thus intended as academic marker indicating that the curriculum requirements of the IQF Level 7 academic year has been met and that the student qualifies to proceed with the MBA Top-Up phase at a university/business school accredited on the UK-Ofqual/BAC system.
